How much water did Jesus convert to wine?
Everything that is written in the Bible is written for a purpose.
John 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
Jesus’ mother is never called Mary in this gospel, and these are the last recorded words of Mary “Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”
John 2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
So how much water did Jesus convert to wine?
1 Firkin = 9 gallons at 3 Firkins that’s 27 gallons, and at 6 water pots that’s 162 gallons of wine!
John 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
This is man’s way. God’s way is to give the best first and always!
John 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
Well I guess this puts the final word on the false miracles recorded in the apocryphal books of His childhood miracles!
